This lifelong resident
of Chatham dedicated a great deal of his life to children in
Chatham Minor Baseball and is fondly remembered by those he came in contact. He was never too busy to
repair a glove or another piece of equipment for the young
players. Casey was born in 1929, spent over 40 years in
baseball, and still resides in Chatham.

- Coached bantam house league for 5 years and was
league convener for 20 years
- Coached the bantam travel team for 15 years
during which time won 12 Western Counties Baseball
Association championships and 5 Ontario Baseball
Association championships
- Served on most CUBA Committees including Rotary
Park Lights Committee, Dance Committee, Banquet
Chairman, Registration (every year), Fergie
Jenkins Committee.
